I researched pubs in the area through Trip Advisor in order to find a suitable meeting place centrally placed for several groups of friends that meet up on a regular basis. I'm very glad we found this pub on our first try (from a shortlist...More

We ate here as 4 adults and 2 children aged 4 and 7. (We are locals and use the pub regularly for a drink, the beer and hospitality is always very good!) We had a starter and a main course. Although the food was good...More

this was the best roast dinner that I have eaten in a pub or restaurant. the potatoes were lovely & crispy with plenty of our chosen meat, both beef & pork.

Friendly village pub with a great mix of locals giving a 'buzz' of chatter as you arrive. (Dogs and children welcomed). Sofas, tables and decor work well to compliment the very welcoming service. Menu is different from the normal 'tied' pub: well presented, excellent service...More

Description
We are a family run Free house in the lovely village of Swanmore. Our cosy pub has a great beer garden and open fire. We welcome dogs in our bar - where you can eat and drink - the restaurant is for humans only! All our food is freshly prepared from scratch using free range meat, eggs and organic milk. We have a lunch menu, a la carte evening menu, children's menu, over 60s special menu at lunchtimes, and Sunday roast and lunch menu. We serve a great range of local ales and extensive wine list. We also do functions, wakes, and the outside catering.
