I would give a zero score if there was one! I had written on here several months ago how this place has gone down hill with the owner cutting corners by watering down sauces and using cheap ingredients and her not wanting to address customers...More

We live in Rickmansworth and visit most restaurants regularly. We had never been in here but thought it worth a visit because it is always full. We are so disappointed. The food was bland and tasteless. Sloppily pressented. My starter was a pile of shredded...More

For a restaurant rated so highly and previous good reviews , I was slightly disappointed on my visit. I think the main reason for this is that we were sat upstairs, which felt like the overflow area. Downstairs seemed to have a good atmosphere and...More

We were recommended to go to Tamarind Thai Café for lunch and we certainly weren't disappointed! The service is very friendly and the menu is varied enough that there's something for everyone. We both really enjoyed our meal and look forward to going back again...More

Cafe style local Thai restaurant, great food with family, friends or work colleagues. Casual and a great place to take children to sample different foods. Local parking and right next to the train station in the heart of Rickmansworth's lovely town. Great value for money.

This is a popular place and not very big even with the upstairs, only just managed to get a table, it was worth it though - tasty dishes and friendly staff!

Lunch for two. Overall the food was well presented and the service was friendly however I think the concept of Thai has been lost to the British influence. Overall a disappointing lunch but the locals obviously love the place, it was very busy. The staff...More

Tasty meal in this cafe style no frills restaurant. Service was very good and I enjoyed the food. I recommend booking as it gets busy. It’s a little cramped so I wouldn’t go for a special occasion.

No I don't think so. This is a very busy little cafe/restaurant. The ambience is basic but pleasing and the food exceptional. I would hesitate to want to take a small baby or child there as room is at a premium. Not saying... More

Quit the diet for one night and enjoy one of the best Thai restaurants around! Seriously though, if you speak to the owner Sasima , she will give you ideas for less rich dishes. Thai food isnt that fattening anyway.
