We arrived after an a long day of driving and distilleries. Despite us not booking a table beforehand the manager made sure that she could fit us into the restaurant. We had our covers for 1hr.45 mins and it was more than enough time to...More

This place is in the middle of nowhere but if I had to do it on foot again to get there it would be worth every step! What a fantastic place to eat, staff amazing scenery stunning, food unbelievable. If you are in the area...More

This restaurant is consistently good. Today we enjoyed a perfectly cooked cullin skink followed by sea bass on s bed of Provencal vegatables. My husband loved his hake on kidney beans and chorizo. A really delicious meal. Cannot wait to return.

About a 10-minute drive off of the main highway and down a country road, this restaurant also wholesales seafood to other restaurants. My wife and I had a reservation and were seated promptly; given the diversion to get there, I wouldn't go without one. Clearly,...More

I make at least 2 trips here every year , always with a reservation and generally with someone that will do the driving home after a few glasses of well paired wine . The best of Scottish seafood is showcased here, always fresh , perfectly...More

This is what I think you should expect from a restaurant that catches (and supplies to others) a range of shellfish and line caught fish. Everything is super fresh and prepared simply but well. No need to over complicate such great ingredients. Not too pricey...More

The food is wonderful, fresh and really reasonably priced. This isn't a high end, fancy restaurant, they focus more on getting you good food than they do décor or pretense (which was no issue for me, but may be for others). Every bite of food...More

My lovely wife and I came here for dinner one evening when staying in nearby Ballachulish. It's a nice place on the loch shore serving very good local seafood. We shared some oysters and some razor clams to start, the latter of which were particularly good....More

We found this seafood restaurant on our last night and our fish was superb. We were fortunate to get a table for two fairly early on a Friday evening. I don't think later we would have stood a chance! Lovely views too.

Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant but they are welcome on the terrace with a lead on. We also have a picnic area and again, dogs are welcome, but should remain on a lead. It is near the road so it is for their... More

Description
Lochleven Seafood Café, Deli and Gift Shop is situated on the shores of beautiful Loch Leven on the west coast in the Highlands of Scotland.

Allowing the sea loch and mountain views to take centre stage alongside our simple yet elegant seafood dishes, our café is designed modest and unamusing.

Live shellfish for our family run Restaurant and Deli is kept in onsite seawater tanks where the water is pumped continuously from the cold clean sea-loch on our shore. After being caught locally by our own fishing boats, the shellfish is stored in these tanks. This allows our Chefs to access the freshest possible west coast seafood for the Restaurant and our Deli.
