A good selection on the menu to suit all and fairly priced. The service was excellent. The staff couldn't do enough.

We are regular visitors to Scotland and indeed a holiday let nearby the above establishment. We have two young children and have previously been warned off visiting the Stronlossit due to their attitude toward kids. Having heard it is now under new management we decided to give it a go. It was a little quiet when we arrived but received... More

This was a really mixed bag of a meal. Firstly the beer choice is great, the open fire is wonderful and the service was really good (but she is familiar so I can understand some of the reviews thinking she is a bit much). We liked her though! Starters special was Breaded Camembert and when it come it was still... More

Had dinner in here with a mate for a couple of nights while on a fishing trip. Had the steak and ale pie one night and the fish the next ..... Both were fresh and tasty. Good portion sizes. Staff were friendly and attentive without being in your face. Would definitely come here again.

Reasonably busy quite tired looking. Waitress is full of herself, so it took a while before she took our order. Terrible food and well overpriced. Would not go back.

Stopped off here en the way back from a trip out at app 5pm on a Monday in Sepeptember. The place had four other guests. We were served by a rather sullen/fed up waitress who also seemed to be the receptionist when we left. Steak and ale pie and chips was tasty if typical of the type of thing supplied... More

After a walk up Ben Nevis we were in need of a pint and some good food. We were staying very close by and after looking at the menu online we decided on The Stronlossit. We both had fish and chips and it was very tasty. The waitress was lovely, very chatty and friendly. It was quite quiet when we... More
