My driver suggested to try this place as it is the best in 'LAL MAS'- local mutton delicacy. It was a bit spicy but worth every penny. The spices used in the gravy is all local Jaipur spices and it the flavors were bold and...pronounced. We also are naan, roti and paneer butter masala and panneer tikka. All were good. We visited this restaurant for lunch after visiting Jaigarh Fort, Stepwell and Amer Fort. Our driver took us over there when we informed him that we would like to at veg food (it seems our driver received some favor - maybe free food!) and it...was fairly good place. It is on 2 levels. Ground and basement. They have Rajasthani folk singer with his musical instrument singing as well as boy wearing traditional rajasthani dress dancing on the music. When they came down to basement for their performance , it was bit loud and distracting. But I think it was mainly for western tourists. Food was bit on spicy side but was well prepared. Prices were bit on higher side than expected. Restaurant have clean toilets in front of restaurant (similar to portable toilets). All in all, good experience.More
I am a huge fan of Indian food and this place was just amazinggg in terms of food. Specially ask for Suraj who will give you an authentic journey (if you ask for it). If you ever go to Amber fort, this is a spot...you MUST stop by!!!!!More
Tasty food. The pea and mushroom curry and the Veg Byriani was very tasteful. Though it didn't say in the menu that the Byriani had cheese in it. They should clarify that. Also had the dal one time as the waiter said it was spicey....Sadly this was not the case. Overall good food with good service.More
