Great Food, Great Ambience and well thought menu

If you're looking for a typical restaurant where tourists want to eat hot/spicy and the most unhealthiest ingredients in their meal, skip this place. Because this restaurant has a great selection of Asian and many western dishes that are prepared with the highest quality ingredients. Flavors that are not loaded with spices, oil, heavy cream, or butter but what it should be. Good quality ingredients. Best vegetarian meals made with the highest quality ingredients. Did I mention that they're priced just right? Try once if you visit Mcleodganj. In the last 2 days, we went back to eat here eight times. :)

The best cafe.

The best place when it's comes to coffee and proper breakfast. It was my 3rd time in life when I visited Mcleodganj. I never miss this cafe. They got the best variety of coffee and pie. Apple pie is a must try. Pan cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, hazelnut coffee, English breakfast is recommended.

Excellent restaurant. Not to be missed!

We went there for dinner with a recommendation of a freind. The food was so good the atmosphere was great and the price was reasonable. Webhad wonderful dinner. Not to be missed. Spinach and cheese momos (half steamed half fried) are divine

Best food!!!!!!

By far the best of the best food,coffee and service in Dharamsala. The food is prepared fresh with no MSG. And the service is just cherry on top of the cake! I loved every single meal I ordered🙏🏻 I Would definitely recommend everyone to try their momos & breakfast sets ♥️♥️♥️

Tibetan dishes specially

Located in the mid of the street opposite famous Kalachakra temple. Very simple and not very big in size is this so called famous Snow Lion restaurant. Try Local dishes fairly priced and average in taste. We find most of cafes and restaurant similar in and around Mcleo. All are run by Tibetan.

Nice coffee shop serving a choice of coffees, teas, kambuchas, and baked items. Very reasonably priced and gives you value for money. The location too is convenient. Rest-rooms could be cleaner, though just about adequate.

2 Months in (feels like) Tibet

I was here with a school experience and this restaurant/cafe was our hub. Great connection to wifi, easy to find and meet up with people even to meet new people. They have lots off books here for tourists to plan time in India. The food and drinks are great and a fair price. Masala tea is a must-try. I have fond memories of this place and think about it often!

We ordered their special chowmein

We ordered their special chowmein and half-fry momos. Both were bland and poorly seasoned and we ended up adding hot sauce. After an hour, we were not comfortable. Really not sure what the 4.5-5 stars are about.

As was the case with most of the restaurants my daughter and I visited during my recent stay in Mcleod Ganj, Snow Lion was really pleasant, serving good value, tasty food in a comfortable environment.

This used to be a nice cafe/restaurant where one could enjoy a meal or coffee in peace. But now it is extremely dirty and the prices are simply ridiculous considering the quality of food and service. The staff is slow and unresponsive (but I guess they are cheap to hire since most of them are children) and the food is just a bare minimum that is charged as if one had arrived at a gourmet restaurant. It’s far from gourmet, not to mention also quite dirty and unhygienic. I do not think the staff washes their hands, and since there is no inspection in India they do not care. All in all - stay away.
