A really nice, stylish and clean cafe right in the middle of town, near the Dalai Lama’s Temple. Seating is available on the small terrace outside next to the main road and inside.
They have a reasonable range of snacks, beverages, cakes and other goodies at reasonable prices.
The young staff are always efficient, kind and welcoming.
Recommended!

The coffee and sandwiches were excellent. Veg and non-veg Himachali thali for lunch were extraordinary, traditional meal made with organic produce. Moonpeak is located on Temple road and cannot be missed. Must visit.

This little gem offers a wonderful, varied and different menu from those around it. Healthy freshly made food, low sugar and delicious cakes, this is not to be missed. Their omelettes and home made sourdough bread are delicious. The staff are efficient, kind and friendly and everything is clean. I come to this area for many months at a time and am so grateful for Moon-peak. It is my favourite go-to place.

Enjoyed there mutton roll, bacon sandwich, coffee ricotta cake, almond cake., iced tea, hibiscus tea.Hostess was sweet, courteous and helpful. Well maintained, clean cafe. Gr8 job” Moonpeak”

Loved the kathi rolls , sandwich n shakes.
above all don't miss the Almond cake ...
All food prepared fresh with local raw material most of it home produces .

A small cafe in the middle of the temple road, with cozy ambience. There is variety of food available over there. They serve breakfast, variety of sandwiches and other snacks. hey have excellent bakery options including cakes, homemade cheese and breads. There speciality is Thali. I ordered Himalachali thali. It was a perfect meal and one can enjoy real flavors of Himalayan Food. A must try if you are looking for some Authentic Cuisine.

Excellent service and the cakes are REALLY to die for. Banana cake and chocolate cake. Yummmm. The carrot cake is pretty good too, just needed to be a tad sweeter. Mocha also superb.
Walk a little further down and go to Heera’s paratha stall as well... worth killing!

A magnet for tea as well as coffee connoisseurs, this excellent little spot on Temple Rd, run by a couple of friendly guys, is a real gem, if you fancy a break from the crowds on a peak day or cold rain in chilly January. We LOVED their carrot and walnut cake, and kept returning for it. For a small cafe of it's nature, their "Indian Menu" (with Tandoori food) is impressive. You can sit outside watching the world go by or cozy inside listening to their superb jazz rock / bluegrass playlist (a rare treat in this this part of the area)

Visited by reading reviews. Had himachali thali veg and ice teas. Wow is the word. Tomorrow going for breakfast again. Perfect ambience , humble people serving , the owner /manager is also taking so much care. And the food is yummmy.

Great place to pop in and escape the main drag to the temple or for a spot to eat.
Plenty of vegan options, the burger was fantastic!
They even have postcards for sale that they will post for you, lovely staff, great atmosphere.

Came across this cafe on our way to Dalai Lama Temple. This little cafe is one of the best in Mcleodganj. The almond cake was heavenly! Other than that we had Espresso Ricotta cake and ham and bacon sandwich, everything was excellent. Had known about this place earlier we would surely have had few meals here... maybe next time.And yes the hostesses and the owner are very hospitable.

This is a very nice place in a good location, and once I had found it I went there every day for breakfast. The staff are very friendly and efficient, and everything I ate or drank was just as it should be.

We visited cafe early evening. Had cappuccino, chicken roll, sandwiches and masala chai. All of them were amazing specially the their rolls.
Took almond cake as takeaway, tasted heavenly.
