A nice surprise

Was definitely very positively surprised by this place. Surrounded by cheap fast-foods, which are vastly located around the lake's boulevard, this restaurant is definitely well-worth visiting. A vast menu, with something both for vegetarians and meat lovers, amazing desserts and a good choice of beers. Additional plus for the nice view of the lake, visible from almost entire restaurant.

Unexpected excellence

Modern building on the lakeshore promenade with an astonishing lake view and living green wall, and, what's more important, has a chef who is a small genius. Original, tasty dishes would be proud of any famous and pricy restaurants all over Europe. The fusion of modernity with local tradition, a mix of Prussian and eastern European food is something you'll not find either in Tallin or Berlin. Bravo!

Good place with tasty burger.

Good place with a tasty burger. Prices are a little more than average in comparison with other places in Ostroda. I also ate here soup - nothing special. Ahh I almost forget. The bun in my burger was completely cold

Great restaurant!!!

Best restaurant in Ostroda on my opinion. The quality of the food, how drinks are prepared and wines are all great. The staff is always nice, prepared and helpful. I've been there twice already and will go back there soon for sure.

Good food, very long waiting time

We came to eat sth around 3:30pm. There were not too many people inside but to get the menu we had to wait approx. 15min. Than we have waited next 20 minutes to place the order. For food we have waited more than half an hour. For soups! Food itself was very good and the prices are reasonable.

Must- visit restaurant

One of the few must- visit restaurants in Ostroda, popular for all good reasons and I recommend booking the table. Exciting menu, excellent quality and presentation of food, lots of space (which helps to observe social distancing) with easy access to promenade and beautiful view of the lake. What made our visit particularly memorable was the first class service. Our waitress Nicola was very accommodating, friendly and professional, she is the asset to the business.

If there is crawd run

After an hour of waiting, about noone told us, waiter informed us, that we need to wait half an hour more… finaly food was not worth so waiting so long.

Great food, nice personel, beatiful view, I mean- its beautiful here. Food is looking GREAT. (The meringue was awesome). No more to talk about. 5/5 stars.

Pit stop while driving through Poland

Definitely great location by the lake, nice interior and friendly service. Much left to be desired menu wise. Chicken soup a great no no. Tasteless and seemingly few days old. Marinated veal dumped in a sauce that spoiled the dish completely. Accompanied mushrooms arrived completely cold and chips turned out to be 80% broken bits from the end of the pack. Best choice spring rolls and a burger for sure.

Amazing salads

We came for the restaurant randomly just to eat a nice good dinner. We were surprised by the decorations and first of all by the great food. The names of the dishes for kids are very nice and liked by our daughters. The souos were very good, but absolutely amazing were the salads. The portions were big and the taste was fantastic. I recommend to try any od the salads in this restaurant - you will love it.

Not worth it

I heard so many great opinions about Lalo but for me it’s just another place with average food in busy tourist part of the city. They will always have clients, no effort needed. Pizza was really bad, poor quality products, it wasn’t worth the price. Good soup but nothing special. Tasty cheese cake. Great location and nice service, that’s all. There are many better places to visit in this part of the country.

Yes lunched here recently food looked fabulous mine was tasty I had the chicken all dishes was well presented good selection of food and drinks they make lovely cocktails lovely varander over looking lake staff was friendly

Disappointed

The waiter told us that all tables outside were occupied. The terrace on the first floor was closed despite the perfect weather and It being Saturday..... the minimum waiting time for the order 50 minutes... So we left...
