not much food from Kresy, quite good pierogi (but long waiting time, around half hour), enigmatic menu (chłopskie, wileńskie, litewskie, mazurskie, wykwintne - such adjectives say nothing about ingredients) and really excelent soups (rybna & flaki)

Very good and fresh food.
Nice old style restaurant in housing area, visited by families with children.
A bit hard to find a parking place.

The food is ok but waiting.... you need to spend there 4 hours in a high season to get your meal. Also the food is very heavy. I prefer Lalo restaurand in Ostróda.

The food was very good, but the service was very unprofessional. We got a total of 4 dishes that we didn't order. We ordered two identical soups, one before the main courses, the other at the very end, and a different one than what was ordered. We also got two portions of fries even though we didn't order any. Such a waiter spoils the whole effect of really good food.

Been here with family on Saturday. Ordered 4 mains and something to drink. We had to wait 20 min for a drink, and apparently chief made a mistake and prepared wrong dinner. I could see min 4 waitress around. Really don't know what they are doing here. Shame that good place such like this, got a problem with essentials like service.

Since the restaurant has Eastern Borderlands in its name, we decided to go for a variety of pierogi. We had duck meat dumplings as well as pierogi in Belarus and Vilnius styles. They serve good coffee (by local standards; freshly ground is almost impossible to find in Ostroda) and the food was tasty, maybe except of the Belarus version which turned out bland in comparison. The place is a bit too dark and cramped. Furnishings are old style in a bad sense. Menu is definitely to long - on top of multiple Polish dishes they also make (and deliver) pizza. Been here twice, because of the freshly ground coffee, but...

We ordered a chicken pizza. The chicken was raw. When we reported this, the staff said the chicken was white, so it must be good. We were made to believe that we were imagining things. We have never been treated like this.
