Be sure to book or you will be turned away. All tables are reserved. Food is nice. Wine is expensive.

Good day to you Wilhelm, Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. I can assure you that we will not reserve a table that is not booked. We value all our clients and if someone made the effort to book we do keep his table, which sometimes makes it look empty. I am very happy that you... More

Had a trip through to Gabrielskloof for a wine tasting, beautiful spot with some lovely wines and incredible olives. Service a bit slow considering tasting room was not entirely busy and then still being told to be patient apon arrival as a greeting. Not a good start. Luckily the wines were good to make up for that. Will be trying... More

Gabrielskloof wine farm is a modern wine estate that has been producing wine for the last couple of years and use very modern technology to produce great wine. They are adding to their wine list with ever increasing quality wine. But any wine you buy from them will be great. The restaurant on the estate is really great, and worth... More

We love Garielskloof & have had very nice experiences each time we have been there. March 24th 2017 we had a very disappointing experience. The toasted sandwhich & coffees were very good, the carrot cake not quite up to standard. The food took exceptionally long to arrive, in fact we had to go and ask what had happened to it.... More

We visited for lunch and were met and taken to our table in a friendly and efficient manner. We were seated outside under cover overlooking the garden and ponds - very tranquil. It wasn't long before the manageress came over to ensure we had been attended to. Immediately a waiter came to take our wine order. a viognier from the... More

We visited this restaurant on 26 March. There is plenty of seating both in- and outside. As it was a sunny day we sat within the outside area which is situated around an atrium of lush green lawn with 2 rectangular dark ponds. These ponds have strong netting just below the water surface so the entire atrium is safe for... More

We stopped here for lunch and wine tasting and it great! The food was delicious and very generous portions. The wine tasting was also very generous with lots of great wines to sample. The wine tasting also came with a platter of olives, bread and olive oil which was great! The setting was also stunning and a little oasis of... More

Gabrielskloof is situated near Hermanus. About 30 min drive by car. I have booked on Friday for Sunday lunch. We are a family group of 16 people. On Saturday they phoned me to tell that they are sorry, but they no more have place for us!! I was devastated, and refuse to except it. We went there on Sunday and... More

We had lunch here just before Christmas and returned yesterday with much anticipation, to find that the food just gets better and better, if that is possible. The quality of the ingredients and the care taken to bring out the best in them gives this restaurant a great edge. The menu is inventive with Mediterranean influences yet it stays true... More
