We stopped here for lunch and wine tasting and it great! The food was delicious and very generous portions. The wine tasting was also very generous with lots of great wines to sample. The wine tasting also came with a platter of olives, bread and olive oil which was great! The setting was also stunning and a little oasis of... More

Gabrielskloof is situated near Hermanus. About 30 min drive by car. I have booked on Friday for Sunday lunch. We are a family group of 16 people. On Saturday they phoned me to tell that they are sorry, but they no more have place for us!! I was devastated, and refuse to except it. We went there on Sunday and... More

We had lunch here just before Christmas and returned yesterday with much anticipation, to find that the food just gets better and better, if that is possible. The quality of the ingredients and the care taken to bring out the best in them gives this restaurant a great edge. The menu is inventive with Mediterranean influences yet it stays true... More

We went for brunch, breakfast ends at 11:30. The deli menu is available at all times. My husband had the eggs Gabrielskloof, he said it was awesome. I had the cheese platter it was large for one person. The portions were large. The only down side, not open for wine tasting on a Sunday.

Went for lunch at Gabrielskloof after having heard quite a bit about the place. First impressions is how beautiful the venue is, and sitting outside on the large terraces is an absolute must. The food was good, but unfortunately the service was lacking. My fellow guest was vegetarian and the menu had limited options. There was only one main option,... More

We come each year from the UK for a few weeks and have visited Gabriel's Kloof since it opened. It never fails to delight, the food is always outstanding, complimented by the wine. The owners are the dream team and over the years we have seen them blossom into a world class duo. We have never been disappointed with the... More

We stumbled on Gabrielskloof Vineyard by sheer chance. As we entered the first courtyard the beautiful rectangular pool and fountain seemed to tell us we were in a special place. We walked through an archway and as we emerged from the cool shadows into a large Mediterranean style inner courtyard with two large rectangular ornamental pools we couldn't help saying... More

Seven of us had lunch here today. We had a great time and the service and food was better than average. The calamari salad and the burger as well as the roast of the day (with hand-cut fries) were great! We were served by Sandy, excellent waittress.
