This restaurant has a beautiful relaxed and sophisticated feeling and is a nice change from the mediocre country food available in Zuheros. The food quality, service and value is excellent. Other reviews have indicated that it is expensive, and it may be a bit more...than others in the area but certainly by North American standards is it inexpensive for the quality and environment.More

Loved the ambiance of this restaurant. We had 12 people, and sat in the upper area of the restaurant. We ate here 2 nights and had some of the best Andulusian food on our trip. Everything was served up beautifully plated. The first night we...were lucky to experience some Iberian smoked ham and cheese that was delightful. Loved the red wine-Camp de Borga. I started with the goat cheese with herbs which was scrumptious. My husband and I had the sea bass and pork sirloin wrapped in foie gras. Yum. Chocolate Pannacotta for desert The 2nd night my husband and I had cod and duck. Again, delicious. Our tour guide Juan Carlos, had a Flamenco singer sing during our meal....it really was fantastic.More

After having arrived at the Hacienda Minerva, we decided to have dinner in the restaurant. We made a booking for 9.00 and appeared to be the only guests until a Spanish family arrived at 10.30. The food was very good and very well prepared. We...had partridge pate, grilled vegetables, grilled sea bass and canard a l'orange. This was certainly one of the poshes restaurants during our holiday in Spain. Price was above average, but it was worth it.More

The restaurant was beautiful and charming, but the food was expensive and the staff VERYrude. Quality was medium-low. When we arrived there they had no idea about our booking. Once we sat we had to wait 50 min to get the food. The staff seemed...to be pissed that we were having dinner there, even if we were guest of the hotel. We booked dinner for the kids 20.00 pm and it wasnt ready until 8.45. Some kids fall asleep. In general, very bad service, maybe for a coffe is fine, but just for that, I would never recommend it.More

We went to its restaurant for having a family lunch and the experience was very good. The place in which it is located is awesome, very Andalusian, and the food, especially the meat, was amazing. I highly recommend it

It’s a great place to eat full of atmosphere and history. The food perfectly prepared with a good wine list and the staff delightful.

The food was nice but nothing special and a bit too expensive for the quality. In the summer, it is possible to eat on the roof terrace, which is a romantic experience: you can watch as the swallows and have views on the countryside. The...staff was nice. If you have a dog, the terrace is the only solution (as so often in Spain).More

The "Partridge Pate" caught and held our attention, as did the Salmon in a pastry crust and my personal favourite, a traditional ox-tail stew. Add a wine list offering an very good choice and a smiling and bantering staff, this was a restaurant experience that...will prove a highlight of our trip through the white villages to Granada and beyond.More

I ate here for dinner while on a biking tour of the area. The dining room is lovely. We were offered a set selection of local dishes, so I can't comment on the full menu options. The dishes, which included a beet soup and braised...ox tails and a goat cheese cheesecake using local goat cheese, which the area is known for, were very nicely prepared and presented. I thoroughly enjoyed sampling the local cuisine.More

Very good food, if somewhat rich. The wine was also good, and not expensive. On hot days, although they say they open at 8 PM, there's not much point to eating before 9 PM, when the sun starts to set and it gets a bit...cooler.More

We had dinner twice here during our stay and cannot recommend the restaurant highly enough. Best lamb I have had in a long time and my husband loved his steak. Try local red wine Aljamalia.

The location and I guess you could say the 'ambiance' of the place is great. Cool areas with lots of greenery and great terrace views. The food is very good indeed. OK a bit of maintenance wouldn't go amiss, but nothing that would give you...a big problem. Would definitely recommend it!More

This is a nice restaurant with interior balconies. The food is good if you eat meat but it is not vegetarian friendly. "Vegetarian" means "meat free" - rice and vegetables - no protein.

The place is awesome. An old village carefully maintained, full of plants, antiques and magnificent views. The food was very good too but a bit expensive.

View in the terrace over the olive groves is amazing. We didn't see the inside part of the restaurant so cannot comment on that. Food is bland and not exciting. Same menu you get anywhere in a Spanish restaurant but just doesn't taste nice. Had...to send my food back as it was cold. Service is nice and friendly enough. Go for the view, but in this area you can see that view from anywhere for free. Most expensive meal for a family we have had so far in Spain, and we have eaten in Madrid and Granada.More
