Excellent service and food. Visited for my 40th birthday. The steak was beautiful and the setting was very scenic. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

To find such excellent cheap food walking distance from our lodgings was indeed a bonus. The price is beyond comprehension to a hardened Londoner expecting sky high prices. Quality food, well presented, in wonderful surroundings. It seemed as if the whole village was eating there....Whole families on every table. Please a christening on the top floor. How does the kitchen cope? Great value house wine. If I lived here I would eat here 7 days a week and convert my own kitchen into a guest bedroom and sell the cooker and oven.More
Very good food and friendly service. Beautiful terrace and extensive menu. Good local dishes pasta with truffle a particular favourite.
This place really is a gem. The food is incredible and very reasonably priced. We ate here twice and they couldn’t do enough for us. Perfect romantic location for a perfect meal.
It is always a pleasure to dine at this lovely restaurant. Fortunately it is the nearest one to our holiday rental in nearby Celle dei Puccini. The lovely staff always give us a fantastic welcome and the food is always excellent. This year we sampled...steaks, grilled lamb chops, pizzas, tagliatelle with aromatic herbs and trout and couldn't fault it. The local wines are reasonably priced and the desserts were delicious too. We can't wait to go back there on our next visit.More
We just bought a property several minutes from here; its a great location for scenery, and the Tuscan lifestyle, and the food in the local area is amazing! This Ristorante is no exception, went on a Sunday lunch alone, as I was on a sorting...out visit. I was greeted with friendly service, and my chosen Trout Carpaccio, followed by a gorgeous pasta with a truffle and sausage cream sauce was fab! House wine also very good. I returned the following day for a pizza, and that was the best ever! The outside areas for summer also looked amazing, but best to book gets very busy!More
Every time we go to our home inTuscany, we always make our way to Pescaglia and to pizzeria Molin della Volpe. The restaurant is built around around an old mill and the setting is impeccable. The servers are friendly, well informed and the food especially...the pizza is marvellous. It’s a beautiful drive to get to the restaurant and once there you won’t want to leave. I highly recommend it.More
This is a lovely little restaurant, about 5-10 minutes off the main road from Lucca to Borgo a Mazzano. The food is all fresh and delicious. The fiori de zucca were a real hit; great antipasti; lots of great pasta dishes, including clam linguini; and...a whole separate menu with every pizza you can think of (and more!). (no pizza at lunchtime though – they only light the oven in the evening). All very well priced too. We loved it so much we went back a second time during our week in Valdottavo.More
We went there without any great expectations - could there be a nice place outside Lucca. We was blown away by the settings outside in their garden. And the menu was looking great and tasted even better All my recommendations to this place for foods...and settings this is a place we will come back to next timeMore
Wonderful evening with good food and great service at a good price. Very good service and some staff speak English. We shared a mix of antipasti and zucini for starters which was lovely. We had a variety of dishes with my choice being the spaghetti...with tomato sauce, great. Finished off with a variety of deserts all which were lovely. All washed down with some good white and red wines. Excellent venue and hope to return soon. Thank you.More
