We went to this restaurant because it was close to where we were staying. They served some lovely and tasty food. Nothing fancy, but good Italian cooking. It was very busy too, with local couples, plus a group of local teenagers. Very good value too.

The restaurant Da Valentino was recommended to us by our landlord (incidentally also highly recommended (Airbnb Il Finile)). It is advisable to reserve!! Our Navi then led us through a very winding road leading to restaurant. What already noticeable at the very beginning, there are almost only Italians encountered as guests, which in principle is a good sign. There is... More

We spent two evenings here during our week in Tuscany. The food was traditional, homemade, plentiful and very good value for money. The red wine was part of the package and flowed freely and the wild bore sauce with home made pasta was the best I have ever tasted. The atmosphere in the restaurant was so friendly with locals introducing... More

This wonderful, family-owned restaurant is a perfect example of traditional Tuscan home-cooking in a welcoming, old-world atmosphere. You're treated like family here. Call ahead to let them know you're coming and what time. (Around 7 or 8 is best.) And arrive HUNGRY: the kitchen brings forth a non-stop parade of wonderful food, including fresh fruit with prosciutto and fried bread... More

Fresh, homemade traditional food. There's no menù, you eat what they have and they have a lot! This is slow food at it's best, consider at least 3 hours to finish everything! A simple antipasto, 4 kinds of "primi" (Cannelloni, mushroom risotto, tordelli and papardelle with wild boar ragù. You can eat as much or as littleas you want, they always... More

Valentino's is of that noisy, family orientated & typically Italian kind of eatery we all basically love and dream of but rarely find. No thought of any decor to speak of, the country setting of Fiano village takes care of that side of things, but a dedication to feed the hungry masses who gather round the steaming pots of pasta... I love Valentino's! Every time I am in Loppeglia visiting Michele and Natale, I eat here. Good, local food and people. Fashion shows are fun, too.

We were the only non-Italians in the restaurant for their 7 course, 3 hour Sunday extravaganza. The food comes slowly, about a half hour between courses and longer before the sixth course, which is good because it's very large - 3 kinds of roast meat and three veggies including French fries. The wine included is Valentino's and is quite good.... More

I have roundly 200 contributions to this site, all around the world, and you could see that I give 5 stars only in particular circumstances. Well, I must say that for this restaurant, 5 stars are too few! Only a thing: the pasta (filled with meat or vegetables) is home-made, every morning, and served during the day. I think that... More
