Great location but we had a very disappointing experience. We expected better service, quality and customer care. We primarily went to the Tea Rooms to have their famous apple pie; we had been there before and had very much enjoyed the apple pie. There were 6 of us and we ordered 3 servings of apple pie, an orange/almond slice, 2... More

While we were touring in the Blue Mountains we descended into the Megalong Valley from Blackheath and came across the Tearooms by chance. It was a great place for a casual lunch and refreshments is an outdoor, or indoor, setting in a beautiful part of the world. The service and food was just what we needed, with lots of choice.

Worth a drive of about 15 minutes from Blackheath across the train tracks, then left down into the Megalong Valley. The food is casual cafe style, but because it is made on site, is a trifling expensive, so suggest you share a plate. Very relaxing and serene. Staff most courteous and obliging.

I have been coming here for close on 30 years being my favourite place to take my visitors. Today was no exception, However today's visit was the first time I have been there since the business changed hands. The improvements are noticeable from the moment you drive in. The place has been freshened up no end and looks great. It's... More

What a wonderful country side cafe to have lunch and relax from the beautiful drives around the Megalong Valley. Now that they are licensed be sure to ask for a refreshing glass of white wine to go with the view🍷.

This great rustic café/restaurant is located in the picturesque Megalong Valley and makes a great dining place when enjoying a country drive right in the Blue Mountains. The outdoor settings cater for beautiful interaction with the outdoor environment while the indoor dining (with fires available) are cosy on a colder day. The menu is interesting and reasonably priced, however their... More

In the tranquility of the Megalong Valley, we had shepherds pie filled with slow cooked lamb and veggies, followed by apple pie - simple old fashioned comfort food. Highly recommend you experience this unique secret.

Four of us had delicious Devonshire tea (or 1 tea and 3 coffees) this afternoon. It was scrumptious! We have been coming to the tea rooms for lunch and afternoon tea for many years now and have never been disappointed. I did have reservations and thought we may be disappointed with new ownership, but pleased to say I was wrong.... More
