Whilst this is one of our "locals" we seldom visit because we own a dog so outside seating is our only option. And the FLIES! Oh dear, that is something that never changes. On the upside the menu was vastly improved. We had Eggs Benedict...More

Hi Ronny Thanks for the review and I'm glad you like the changes. Just so you know though, most breakfast is actually available all day we just can't offer everything as once more lunch items become available we just don't have the space in the...More

I am a Blue Mountains resident having made a tree change( for a much better environkment) over 10 years ago. I fine it interesting that when some visitors come to this world Heritage National Park area the expectation is that everything should be “cheaper”. The...More

I am pleased to report that we had a lovely experience at the Tea Rooms this week. All our menu variations were accepted without question and the young wait staff were very confident and handled any concerns very well. I am very pleased to say...More

The drive through the megalong valley from Blackheath is stunning. You eventually reach the tearooms and I highly recommend stopping here. You can sit inside or outside, and the views are stunning. We ordered coffee, tea, a milkshake and scones- all were great. You can...More

Over many years and we have enjoyed our visits to theTearooms and this afternoon we were again met with friendly staff, welcoming service and a wonderful meal. Rain, hail or shine well worth the drive. Thank you.

Came on a blistering hot day so we sat inside however there's a nice view in the outdoor area. As it's down in the valley it's a bit of a short winding road to get there. Service was pretty good, we came for an early...More

I have never before been abused by the owner of a restaurant for sending back a dish. However when I sent back the "chicken breast burger" because I couldn't find any chicken in it I was told by the waiter that "You didn't look hard...More

Thank you so much for keeping your promise of writing a terrible review. You have given me the opportunity to make it clear that when people lie, abuse my staff, threaten me, throw their dinner at me, throw a glass bottle across the garden and...More

Was taken to this place a couple of days ago during a day of looking around the Blue Mountains. Stopped for a tea/coffee break. This is a fantastic place if you want authentic good food without pretence and without hordes of tourists. Can sit outside...More

Beautiful drive into the valley and the rustic tearooms. The meals were large, the desserts delicious and quite reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and beers good. Well worth a stop if on the way through.

I'm pretty sure you can... there are plenty of outdoor seating and I've seen plenty of ramblers stopping by here with their dogs in the past... may be off limits inside the wooden teahouse but should be ok outside
