The food was SO GOOD. I'm actually sorry I only ate there once during my trip to Melbourne. This is a must-visit if you're vegetarian or vegan, but a very nice place even if you're an omnivore.

I am not a vegetarian but The Vegie Bar shows that wholesome vegetarian food may be as delicious and rich in variety as regular food. Moreover, the location is quite cool and very trendy. It is absolutely worth a visit. Recommendable!

Had the Buddha bowl. Serving far too small for the price and accompanying miso sauce had an absolutely awful flavour. Had to eat the Buddha bowl completely dry. Unlikely to come back.

Came here with my partner for our Christmas meal. I particularly wanted to come and try the vegan Big Mac and pepperoni pizza. We were seated quickly at a communal table (something Melbourne seems pretty fond of) and our waiter gave us great service. Unfortunately...More

You don't have to be vegan or vegetarian to enjoy the food here. Everything is amazingg. And they don't try to substitute meat they just eliminate it! Constantly coming here for dinner. and the berry cheesecake- best in Melbourne!

Fitzroy is an unusual blend of working class roots,
hip gentrification, and a robust bohemian work ethic.
Along Brunswick Street and its side streets, you'll
find little independent shops where local clothes and
furniture designers display their wares. There are
specialist bookshops, funky record bars, and quality
vintage clothing shops where browsing is the next best
thing to buying. Gertrude Street is famous for its
