Hangout Roof Top Bar & Restaurant is the most happening place in Kasauli, ranked as the most happening bar and restaurant in Himachal Pradesh, India. Hangout hosts Open mic every Sunday from 4 to 9 pm and Techno / Deep House music on all Thursdays same time. Followed by global music and frequent Jam sessions 10.30 pm onwards. Serving Variety of Cocktails, Beers, Whiskies, Wines, Gin, Rum and Tasty Food. Global Music is played at Hangout, but Bollywood music is not in at Hangout.

This place is largely targeted towards the young, considering the ambience, and the four flights of stairs you have to climb 🪜 up to reach. Add to that a diverse menu and a well stocked bar.
However, the best food they have got is the traditional Indian food. Although we had ordered Veg Shashlik and Veg Chopsuey here, loved their Indian food more. Special mention here for there Paneer Makhni, which was plain awesome. The veg platter is generous in portion size and has a good variety for the vegetarians. But it can be a little spicy so check with the server beforehand. Sepu Wadi is a Himachali dish made with Dal Badis and Spinach and is another gem 💎 on their menu.
Another dish which is good is their cookies and icecream speciality. Scoops of Vanilla icecream lobbed up with ample chocolate sauce, bananas, nuts and placed over warm crumbled cookies. Pure Nirvana.
What makes this place a little special is the service. Jai and the team are doing a fantastic job. Be it seating, food recommendations or general bookings for tables, the team is super friendly. Special shoutout to Pushkar and Inder who served us.
They also guided us to the best tables they had and the views are panaromic. So would suggest if weather permits, sit outdoors.
Just wish they had paper menus too. Scanning the QR codes is not great fine dining experience.

About scanning the menu, during COVID there were instructions from the Himachal Pradesh government to make it contactless. It was done at that time and because it's hassle free and one can alter the dishes by writing comments, so we continued. I hope you understand.

We went to hang out on a Sunday night and were treated to an amazing open mike! Local artists gave incredible performances and left everyone with goosebumps. It was such a great and welcoming atmosphere where everyone felt encouraged and comfortable to share their talents. The drinks and food were excellent and the staff was more than helpful and polite. If you come to Kasauli, do not miss out on the events at Hangout and the amazing views and atmosphere on the rooftop!

This is the only rooftop bar and restaurant in Kasauli. Only bad thing is that you have to use stairs to reach there (4th floor). This is small sized cafe with capacity around 40-50 people only. Indoor as well as out door seating space are there. Food quality is good. Veg dishes are better than non veg in main course. Service was good. This is the must visit place in Kasauli.

The drinks, cocktails and service is very good. The food is very below average, in fact bordering on pathetic.
When we had visited, there was this avian flu scare and no chicken items were available - not the restaurant' fault.
But even the tandoor wasn't functional for whatever reason. There was hardly any choice.
Masala papad was average and the fish fry was not palatable at all.
The view is nice and I would say again that the service is very nice.
Hangout management - you have to do something about your kitchen.

Hangout is a proper bar and restaurant located near central kasauli, they serve good food and varieties of drinks. Place is good for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is recommended for a must visit. Music is too good to enjoy, relax and forget all the hardships.

This is a great place in Kasauli to have a drink and snacks. The downside is that you need to climb 5 flights of stairs to reach the bar.
There is seating both inside as well as outdoors, The staff is friendly and the service good.
Though liquor on offer is limited in range, we got what we wanted.

Hangout Rooftop Bar is the most happening Party place in the area and in my opinion it is one of the Best in India!!
As a single female traveller, the environment of this place is very comfortable and you will feel free to just be.
They have amazing Techno parties on every Thursday and Open Mic on every Sunday and the best part is that you can enjoy these parties along with a Beautiful view of the Sunset and Moonrise along with the Magnificent mountains!!!
Hangout also has a decent internet connection if you want to work while visiting..
The food is Delicious as well! Definitely recommend this Amazing place..

I stayed at the hotel for 5 days had a wonderful stay with my pets and wife. The hotel staff is very helpful and will help you in every way possible.
Mukesh is an excellent help the guy is always smiling and will go ahead and will help you.
Pankaj at the reception is very helpful and will give valuable advice to you.
The rooms are clean and hygienic with wonderful views and balcony. The place is suitable for large family and is pet friendly.
The hotel is centrally located and has car parking available.
Everything is at walking distance from the hotel.
I would like to thank Mukesh, Pankaj and Sunil for the help and taking care of my stay.

we stayed in hotel Kasauli regency for two days . Room are very clean and comfortable. I am very much impressed with all receptionists here. They all are polite and provides instant services to all our request. we had fun in hangout bar also , food is very tasty. Thank you very much to all staffs .

Awesome place !! With a view of hill , this bar is the place to be !! Perfect cocktails to keep the mood high, and music is by far the best in the town. Be it lounging around in city or to party to celebrate special occasion. I often go to Kasauli and never miss going here.

We visited this restaurant by chance as we were looking for a place to have lunch. However we learnt that every Sunday they have "OpenMic" wherein local singers come and perform. We were a group of 10 people and all of us were mesmerised by the setup, the whole ambience and the quality of singers.
Some of them sang better than the original singer.
Great place to visit if you are in Kasauli on Sunday.

One of the best properties I have ever stayed in. Excellent service Excellent staff.
Rooms were neat and clean with all the facilities available. The food was also very good. Overall my experience was too good. Highly recommended.

This place is just great. Food and liquor is love. Owners are very friendly and great. Great music and place to dance all your stress off. Such a great view of hills from this place and on a full moon night. You can actually see moonrise from here !
