We stopped here on the way back from Pisa as I had seen good review when searching for places to eat on our drive. The restaurant is set in a lovely location, we sat outside overlooking the water. The menu had a great selection and...it was very reasonably priced. The food was delicious and so was the sparkling White House wine!! The staff were very friendly. We will definitely return and would recommend this restaurant!More

Arrived in lucca on a Saturday as didn't book we couldn't get in to 2 other restaurants however although busy this restaurant found us a table. Enjoyed our meal of chestnut pasta with nettle sauce and spit roast pork for dessert pancetta with caramel sauce....Our first choice of wine not available but we were provided with a very ni e alternative at the same price. Tbe phillopino waiter spoke excellent English which proved helpful in explaining the dishes we chose.More

I had occasion to visit this restaurant on many occasion, due to the fact that is near a plant of my company, so when you need to have good food in a relaxed way this is your restaurant. Service is gentle and fast and food...is really good. You may have a good menu at a fixed price or ask " a la carte" but in both cases you will be satisfied. On one occasion I had a Carbonara and being roman, I can say that , in my opinion is one of the best one north of Rome! Try also their Farro soup, tasty and good.More

We attended a family wedding celebration here last Friday. On arrival we had nibbles, very nice, then went upstairs for our dinner. What a feast, we had a real taste of Tuscany! Lots of different dishes to try, all fabulous. Lots of flavours. The service...was spot on, the girls were really friendly and helpful. Thank you for a memorable experience.More

It is not far from where we live (about 15 minutes). In winter all dining is inside whereas, in summer, you can sit on the large covered terrace overlooking a fishing lake. At lunchtime there is a pranzo di lavoro (workers' lunch) for 10 euros...- delicious and filling, and it includes wine, water and coffee. Excellent value. In the evenings there is a full restaurant and pizzeria; again good prices and excellent food. The service is always efficient and friendly. It is a frequent eating place for us.More

Went on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was packed and busy. We had a lovely position looking at the lake. The service was prompt and efficient and for those who needed it, the wait staff spoke perfect English. The food was served promptly and...cooked superbly. The house wine was good and we certainly will be backMore

Having been here many times, their lunchtime menu 'workers menu' is without doubt one of the best. If the fish pasta is on the menu for lunch, it's s must.
