It does not look much from the road, but it is very cozy and very nice when you get inside. There is free parking 50 meter south of the place on the other side of the road. The food is very good, and not expensive....The people are very friendly, and the service is excellent. Portions are of good size and a three-course meal will make you leave full. The beef tartare is excellent and I will be back before my vacation ends.More

Went there with 2 colleagues. Friendly staff. Nice diner. Meat was a bit too nervy and greasy. Antipasti meat should be more refined in Toscany.

The chef was delightful and checked on us several times. The food was varied and all delicious. It was a highlight meal for out time in the area.

Went here with a client and had a wonderful meal. Wild Boar Pasta was perfectly prepared. While we were eating starters, a man walked in with a basket of Porcini mushrooms, so Chef made us a dish with fresh porcini! Wine list is incredible... service...is great. Only complaint is the lighting is too brightMore

Fantastic meal. The pasta dishes are so well done. The pork dish is the only dish my partner has had when we have visited as he enjoys it so much! Staff very friendly and service excellent. Only problem is that I had to have a...dessert and then felt too full! Great find.More

Atmosphere is traditional neighborhood Italian, cozy, friendly staff. They didn't speak much English and we didn't speak much Italian but very easy to understand the menu and order. Traveling companions ordered a variety of dinners from steak, to pasta, homemade soups, etc. Everything was outstanding!!...I ended my meal and my vacation with Creme Catalano. Hand written into the menu. After a quick google search I decided it was enough like Creme Brulee to try. It was brought to the table and finished by torching a liquid, alcohol based, on top of the dessert. Presentation was outstanding and it taste delicious.More

One of the best pastas that we have had across Tuscany and beyond were in this friendly Osteria (with goose and with chestnuts). The place is excellent all around, the local house wine is also very good.

We stayed at the Renaissance up the hill and wanted to dine off-property to experience the village. We took the recommendations of the reviews here and are SO glad we did! The food was delicious, the service was warm and welcoming and the ambiance was...just what we were looking for. All at a very reasonable price. Be sure to have dessert!More

A typical Tuscan restaurant. Good value for money. The meat is delicious and they have a wide variety of nice local wines.

Wonderful, wonderful food. Great service and just a fantastic evening. The best filet I've ever had in my life is US $15. House wine is fantastic, and the owner's daughter waits on you. My only wish is that we didn't find this place on our...last night in town, because we would have eaten here every night! If you're staying at the Renaissance hotel, come here for your meals. It's so much more authentic, and half the price. Note: we also saw the opening time of 5:00pm that the prior commenter mentioned. This is a Google error though. The restaurant never mentions this anywhere. They may want to contact Google to get it corrected, but it's certainly not there fault :) The restaurant opens at 7:30 like every other one in town.More
