We have a ten at the Red Lion on numerous occasions and the food and table service was excellent as always. Unfortunately the lady who served us at the bar before we were taken to the table was extremely rude. We had some visitors from...More

Visited on a Friday, just after midday, we hadn't booked and it was already busy, but we were quickly accommodated. The food was quickly prepared and tasty. Of particular note was the Specials Board especially the Swordfish steak

We're disappointed you couldn't quite fit a pudding in but glad you found the food to be delicious and the staff helpful and friendly. You'll have to visit again to see if you can make it to pudding.

This is a lovely country pub. A limited range of real ales but well served. Also a good wine list with good options of wines by the glass. The service in the bar and restaurant were excellent but the food was good mid-range fare. A...More
