A very interesting and eclectic menu. With an interesting range of Asian dishes as well as steaks and grills this restaurant caters for most tastes. The food is freshly prepared using great ingredients in the open kitchen. The Vietnamese crab salad was a delight; light, tasty and a great introduction to the meal. This was followed by the monkfish and... More

We booked this family foursome lunchtime treat and arrived about ten minutes early which was not a problem for the front of house staff who welcomed us and showed us to our table. The waiter brought the extensive menu and asked us if we would like drinks whilst we perused the menu. The menu caters for all tastes and if... More

Last time we visited here we went for the tapas style and enjoyed it very much. This time we went for a "proper meal". We shared some croquettes as a starter and then we each had a main course - Seafood Rendang and the Venison dish. Both had excellent flavours and the portions were very good. The venison was ever... Nice atmosphere with welcoming staff. Menu changes regularly with always something a bit out of the ordinary on it. Excellent presentation of food ( a la master chef!). Fairly expensive so only ever gone with partner or friend (wouldn't bring young kids as they wouldn't appreciate it).

We've been to Cookfella's a few times in the past, but this was our first visit for a while so I thought it was worth doing a new review. We had an excellent evening - the food was great, the surroundings are comfortable, the server was very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and we even had a good view from... More

A birthday meal for 4 a couple of weeks ago, venue recommended by my table tennis colleagues. As things went, a really lovely evening, made nicer by the kind, helpful look-after staff. Lamb, ribeye & veggie dish mains all excellent, puds likewise. Wines fine, including a bit of a rarity in eating venues, viz glasses of sweet wine on offer... More

Visited for a colleagues birthday, a party of 6. We had a lovely meal, mains and dessert and drinks....wow! Absolutely cooked to perfection, beautifully presented and served by people who are obviously passionate about what they do. We will be returning very soon
