La Rock surpassed all my exceptions- one of the best meals I've had in Nottingham and a really enjoyable way to spend my birthday. The staff were friendly and lovely, and it didn't have an air of snobbery that most restaurants with food of this...More

The food here is fantastic only surpassed by the excellent service. The maitre d (head waitress) always does a fantastic job and nothing is too much trouble for her. The waitresses were able to talk knowledgeably through each dish that was served, which is often...More

A minor birthday meal turned out to be one of the best we've eaten. Not our first highly enjoyable visit, and definitely not the last. The superb chefs circumnavigated allergy issues ( sorry to mess your menu about), and the front of house team were...More

Tucked away on a side street in Sandiacre you would not expect to encounter this little jewel. Sandiacre is a small town just outside Nottingham. At best you would feel lucky finding a decent pizza or maybe a burger. Find a pub serving quality food...More

What a great place, the food is absolutely fantastic. Every course was well thought out and the flavours were beautiful. It's not in the most amazing setting, but that's all forgotten as soon as you set foot in the door. Give me this place over...More

This was our first visit to La Rock despite its growing reputation. The welcome was warm and offered choice of a visit to the lounge or straight to the table. A cocktail beckoned so the choice was made. The menu was inspiring and the food...More

We went for Sunday lunch as a birthday treat for my partner. Every single bit of food was flawless. I don't think that I have had better food anywhere else. I had the leek and potato soup which was served with a lovely bread, I...More

I walk past it a lot. I haven't noticed a car park but it is just off the main road and there is lots of parking on the quiet suburban street.
