A fantastic location on the harbours edge for sitting out on warm days and an amazing interior. We visited twice last week and received a great welcome with both our dogs. The staff were very friendly to both dogs and humans and the dogs are welcome inside the cafe which is a fantastic feature of this great cafe. Coffee was... More

A hidden gem of a lunchtime delight! This quirky cottage style cafe is homely and cosy. The tables are in little rooms providing an intimate family setting. The food is excellent and dogs are allowed inside too. Anne was very welcoming and provided excellent service. Highly recommended cafe in beautiful surroundings.

This cafe is an alley just off the very picturesque harbour area in Portsoy and is in a building reputed to have been owned by a disreputable smuggler in th 18th century. In some respects some of the walls in the little nooks and crannies dont look as they have been painted since the smuggler left and with electrical wires... More

Quirky cafe at the harbour. The Cullen Skink is amazing and served along with the best oatcakes from John Donald, a local bakery. Had to buy packets from the bakery after leaving the café.

What a find; smoked salmon pannini delicious, served with side salad, coleslaw and crisps. Fresh, tasty well presented. All standards A++++++. Atmosphere, cleanliness, staff, food, prices - will be back again (and we are normally flask and sandwich types).

We stopped off for a warm drink on a chilly day, and ended up with lunch! A tasty bowl of Cullen skink went down very well, and others had haggis paninis. All were good and freshly prepared in house. We sat in the back room, which was not all that warm whilst it was only 2 degrees outside, but probably... More
