There's no doubt that Ainoya is one of the best Japanese restaurants North side of the harbour. Wonderfully fresh,creatively presented this place is a must. But on Saturday night go early or late because from 7-9 its packed & the service becomes a little chaotic.
A must when you're in the area. Food is always fresh (no room for error when it comes to freshness in this cuisine), always presented well, offers sushi, sashimi and a good variety of other dishes - and a great selection of saki!

Aburri Sushi Omakase had limited variety but was fresh and really well made.
Sashimi tacos are a fried wonton wrapper with chopped raw salmon, tobiko, and garnishes, and way better than you might think.
