I come here often for a cheap yummy lunch with friends. It's a back to basics place, with no frills, but the food is good and substantial. Great for a casual eat-in or takeaway dinner too

Tasty, clean food at the TCK. Great value at lunchtime when patrons can buy a full sized meal for $10.00. Mike is lovely. Very friendly. Authentic Thai restaurant.

We had a particularly bad experience in this restaurant and would not recommend it. The bathroom had empty toilet rolls and cardboard boxes everywhere, not to mention mould on the walls and windows. The toilets had not been cleaned for some time either. The food was served promptly and with a smile. It was very bland compared to other Thai... More

Having spent some time in Thailand in August, I'm now eating in Thai restaurants whenever I get the chance. The Thai Country Cafe isn't much to look at with very basic decor but the owner was a lovely man and the food was delicious. My friend and I both ordered stir fried veges with cashews - the vegetarian option for... More

I went here for my birthday dinner. 35+ people . We had an amazing buffet. The tastes were exquisite. The quantities were generous. Everyone enjoyed the food.

The food was average, although it was owned by a Thai, the tom yam soup does not have the taste of authentic tom yam soup. I guess there might be a lack of the needed ingredients? The small place is old and tired, needs some renovation or cleaning up. There were quite a number of flies around.

The food at this Restaurant is just like in Thailand. The service is great. Perhaps not your normal Kiwi decor but if you want Thai food then this rates.

Levin has an extraordinary number of food outlets for its size, and I think there are 3 Thai restaurants. This one is our favorite, and we have been going for years. You can find it snuggled between the 2 traffic lights which make up the Levin town centre, and the food is delicious.
