Beautiful restaurant and eccentric but friendly owner. Food superb. Wine excellent. Reasonably expensive but you have to go there at least once. Didn't stay in the hotel but this looks very good. Inner courtyard very picturesque.

My wife and I had Sunday lunch at Hotel d'Alibert on my birthday in July. We come here often, because it is such a wonderful place. The setting is magnificent; the food is superb, as is the wine; and it has such a warm and...More
This restaurant boasts simply stunning Templar architecture and really snappy table treatments. Take a camera, most certainly. The menu is fairly varied but the dishes were bland and had that "I've been hanging around for a long time" look. Tired and disappointing fare, alas. On...More
The menu had variety and depth. Be sure to ask Frederic for his suggestions for wine. I enjoyed the cassoulet, while my husband had the duck confit, which he ate with gusto.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and intended to eat ut at least once. The owner is not pushy at all about eating there each night, he just needs to know what your plans are. there is a three course menu with 5...More
Yes the host/owner is a real character, bordering on rude. We stayed in the village for a week and this is one place I would never go back. Everything seemed to have been prepared days before and reheated for the meal. Duck was dry and...More
Had a lovely meal here and were entertained by the owner who also spoke very good English. Came away very full and very satisfied.
