My friend and I were out for a ride in the countryside and visited The White Monk Tearoom in Blanchland. The tea was excellent, (just the way I like it). Extra hot water was provided as well. The Ham Sandwich I had was absolutely delicious,...More

Called in here recently. I have to say although the food was ok, the prices are very expensive £4.80 for two cups of tea. If you are going with your family ensure you have plenty of money with you.

This local cafe really does hit the spot. Offering dishes known to this area, for example, pease pudding, and ham, gorgeous. I was so pleasantly surprised, the quality of the food was high, the home bakes were delicious, Thankyou

Came on here for scones, tea and fruitcake. The quality of the scones was especially good although the cream was not clotted. The tea was excellent too. Staff very friendly today too.

We have been coming here for years and even though it was quite expensive, the coffee and cakes, scones etc were very nice. However, the last twice we have been the bill was over £10 for two coffees, a cake and a ginger biscuit (slightly...More
