This is the only restaurant I have found in Anachal. I have eaten in the Salkara restaurant several times when I stayed in Anachal. I had there both breakfast and dinner. I have found everything very delicious.

On our First day of Kerela tour, Our Driver picked us at Cochin Airport and we were driving to Munnar. Our first stay of tour was in to be in Munnar, We requested driver to halt us at a decent place for lunch on the...way to Munnar. He suggested us to have lunch at Salkara Hotel. The Location of this hotel is good, it is in middle of a town called Anachal on the way to Munnar. We sat in AC Room, the AC room had nice view of valley. Ambiance of hotel was good. Service was good. Food quality was decent. Food quantity was appreciable enough to quench hunger. Hygiene could be better. I saw a lot of foreigners having lunch at this hotel. Food prices were appreciable. Overall a decent lunch experience, could not expect more than this.More

One of our best meals in India! The staff were lovely and the food was damn fine. A very understated restaurant. I would recommend the Bindi Masala and Menthi Aloo!

Owner and works threaten, jocks & laughing on Non South Indian customers. They provided poor quality drinking water and very low quantity to non south Indian customer, charge extra amount then menu card.

We had several meals at this restaurant, and all were delicious and quite substantial. Don't get greedy, don't order too much food! It would be a shame time waste any of it! Staff also very pleasant. Highly recommend eating here.

The Salkara Hotel is one of the best restaurants located at Anachal, the gateway to Munnar town and we can see several vehicles parked by the side of the road and in front of the restaurant during tourist season. The restaurant serves good Kerala dishes...and they offer few Chinese dishes too. The restaurant is with good seating and is maintained well offering good service too. I have been to the restaurant for lunch and dinner on several occasions and though we can't expect the food served to be warm when the atmosphere is too low, I found the food comparatively good. If you are on your way to Munnar this restaurant is a good choice since restaurants in Munnar town will be crowded and also parking will be difficult.More
