I eat here often. The shop serves excellent curry rice and is a short distance from Gotanda Station. Tasty, reasonably price, friendly service.

After some persuasion my boyfriend and I went here for dinner, to his surprise he was pleased because it was delicious!! We had the beef tenderloin with vegetables with free rice, it was quite a cheap meal and really warmed us up. It always looks busy as it is a tiny restaurant but it is worth the wait if you... More

This is a tiny restaurant in Gotanda, really close to the station. It is good to go alone for a quick dinner. The dishes come out really quick. The curry was really good, there are several types, including Indian style curry. I had the curry with egg and it was great. I saw some banners explaining how they cook and... More

The chicken curry with egg and spinach is delicious - an amazing dish. The staff turn the food out quickly. This is more a quick in an out place than fine dinning - the food is wonderful though. If you are thinking this is a spicy indian curry know that its not like that - this is a Japanese version... More

We came to this tiny restaurant because of other trip advisor recommendations. It is a tiny Japanese restaurant at Hirajuku station stop. It can only seat 14 people at one time. They serve a limited menu. We both had the double Japanese beef curry and a beer. You can choose the size of rice that you would like. I chose... More

Stumbled on this place in a string of subterraneous restaurants. Their curries are really good and they gave us an English menu after we were inside. My husband had the beef curry, which was great and I had a curry that boasted that it contained as many vegetables as one need eat in a day. Splitting these curries between the... More

Visited here on holiday. Came across the place by accident when trying to find somewhere non fishy to eat. Service was attentive and efficient and the food was delicious. English menu available inside if required. Highly recommend the cheesy beef curry or the beef and veg curry for those craving a little bit of non pickled veg (be warned it... More

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
