Either before or after your trip to the Senso-ji temple area, Miami Garden is a wonderful comfortable and quiet getaway for a bite to eat. Service was very friendly. Nice pizza. Lemon squash to drink. Clean restrooms with Toto toilets.

Lovely little restaurant, tucked away right by the tran station. Good service, good food, is right beside the train station. Has a smoking area close to the no smoking, not separated. Coolest toilet, warm seat, bedet, and a sink on the back, all things occur...More

Although an American- patio- design, this sit on one of the most busy corners in Asakasa, one block from the temple near the metro stop. Cool and cozy, food and service fair, price fair, a touch of sanity in midst of crowds .. no free...More

I was in the mood for Italian food and came across this place as I was walking from the metro station. I ordered the margherita pizza. It wasn't phenomenal and the crust was soft (I like mine thin and crispy), but it was still pretty...More

Tired, hungry and needing something Western to eat for a change, we chose this restaurant with fairly low expectations. We were absolutely delighted to discover our expectations were exceeded massively: we had the most delicious pizza we've eaten for many years (including in the best...More

After sightseeing in Shinjuku, and the disgusting display of excessive wealth that is the hotel in "Lost in Translation", we decided to scout the streets to collect our sins over a glass or two of wine. This was the first place we came by where...More

The restaurant is located near Kaminari-mon, so it is easy to find. It`s in a basement so you do not have any windows / views over the busy streets nearby. I ate salads, pizzas and italian cutlet, very good.

You wouldn't think you're at the heart of one of the busiest cities in the world when you descent the stairs of this Miami Garden restaurant. It's peaceful and nicely decorated and the service is (as I love about Japan) swift and friendly. I had...More

The Japanese have their own spin on the American adaptation of an Italian original ... and I wouldn't have it any other way when I'm in Japan ... I can get American versions of food in America. There was plenty of choice on the menu,...More

Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old
Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa.
Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit
a variety of different museums and galleries. At
Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the
grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed
alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at
the end of the year, when many people go on shopping
