I'll be brief. The Twilight Hour is an ridiculous bargain - especially if you can score a package deal including that, the spa and breakfast when staying at the Park Hyatt (which I did, and it worked out at 3,000 yen each evening). Given the amazing views (it's on the 41st floor) and quality of the location, you're in the... More

Bar from the movie 'Lost in Translation'. Great views. They have a nice deal from 5-8pm each day with unlimited drinks and canapés for quite a reasonable cost. Very relaxing. A memorable part of our trip.

We had the loveliest time at The Peak Bar after a long day scooting around the city. We arrived just as the sun was setting and had a clear view of Mt Fuji disappearing into the sunset. We chatted to the couple at the table next to us and recommended a couple of cocktails for them to try. The staff... More

I highly recommend the "Twilight Time" offer at the Peak Bar - some of the best views in Tokyo overlooking the city skyline from high up, on the 41st floor. This offer is for free flow drinks (selected) and canapes (decent selection) for 3 hours at a great time of the evening as the sun sets on Tokyo (the views... More

Very busy bar/sitting area as you enter the hotel. Views of Mount Fuji (on a clear day) on one side.

The Twillight Time at the Peak Bar is an absolutely must do in Tokyo! For only 5000 yen you can enjoy the hours between 5-9pm with free cocktails and cannapes. We went on a friday night and was seated by a table just next to the DJ, who played very suiting lounge music. There was no cocktail menu - they... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
