Have been here 3 times; suggest to go early to snag seats. Loved the original french toast with maple syrup.

Cafe was easy to find and situated in the basement so a flight of stairs is to be expected. Whilst the interiors does not seem cosy, this is made up for by the relaxing music in the background and good friendly service. French toast comes with different sauces so it is to individual's preference, we like the caramel sauce and... More

This place is so Japanesey, small space (I mean small space, it's very close with other table, I can even overhear couples beside me was breaking up) but so cozy and comfortable. I reccomend to visit this place with half empty stomach and brings 2000 yen to go here (if you're couples) and most of their french toast menu. I... More

It honestly tastes like a warm custard pillow; I don't like western style French toast but this was amazing, I had the apple and cinnamon, my partner had caramel sauce, I ate most of his because he could tell I loved it so much. I will definitely be back.

This small little cafe doesn't look like anything special and the menu only has French Toast and drinks. We ordered a set with tea and toast, and boy did it surprise us. The toast is amazingly soft and moist and the cream and cinnamon was delicious. Definitely recommend this place if you enjoy French Toast!

All in all this cafe had great French toast and is worth a visit ($6 for 2 large pieces with a topping). The only complaint that I have is about the restrictions on ordering that were annoying and unclear. In the begging we thought of splitting one set dish contrasting multiple toppings and 3 pieces of toast, but or waiter... More

This is a charming, cozy cafe but you have to really look for it. It's in a doorway and you walk downstairs. I highly recommend the french toast, you have to have it! It's the MOST fluffy, creamy, succulent, velvety food I've ever had in my whole life!! No joke!! It melted in my mouth with each savored delicious bite.... More

I love the food. I think everyone should try their frenchtoast. It's different than any other frenchtoas and it's delicious.

We stumbled upon Cafe Aaliya by accident and we didn't know we were in for a real treat. There’s pretty much just one item on the menu: french toast (with many sauce cream and ice cream side options). And boy, we were dumbfounded from the first bite! The bread alone was probably the softest texture we have come across. Soaked... More

Fluffy French toast, applesauce mixed and Carmel with whip cream and ice cream topping. They serve mostly French toast varieties of tea and coffee . :-)

Thank Jayous

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
