This restaurant is well known to serve good Italian dishes and nice western cuisine. We ordered pasta and a steak. The tender streak was very delicious, and fries potato and cooked spinach were tasted good.

Agio is located on the seventh floor (the top floor) of the Isetan department store in the Shinjuku section of Tokyo. The store is regarded as a high-end establishment with premium goods (international brand names and beautiful local and regional crafts) and service to match. As we explored the store, mightily impressed by the polite and professional sales staff, we... More

After being in Japan for a month, a western menu was on the table. Only westerners in the restaurant and saw a lot of people order pasta and a pizza. My wife has a sea bass set with an appetizer, salad and coffee. I had the grilled chicken that was prepared with lemon and a mustard/vinegar sauce. Simply put it... More

Pizza is good that is true. However not as good as would be supposed by the price. Overpriced place, but if you don't find any other place, this offers pizza tasting better than in Europe.

We spent about 45 minutes looking for this place and finally gave up and had dinner at a different location. We managed to find Agio on our way home and decided to stop in for a quick dessert and pizza. The food and service were great. The pizza was probably the best ive had in tokyo. A good option for... If you are looking for a good restaurant around then I recommend AGIO. AGIO is a delightful Italian restaurant located on  seventh floor of the Isetan Department store.  I and my family always go there when we have a special day such as our birthday , Christmas day , and my parents' anniversary day.  From the first time that we... I was craving for Japanese style Western food when I was in Shinjuku. I saw a long line waiting outside of Agio, and I knew this would be an excellent restaurant. The line moved really fast, and we were seated at a table within 15 minutes. As usual, the Japanese servers were really nice and attentive. Many spoke basic English,... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
