My friends and I were traveling through Japan and were told to try this place. Fantastic ramen, rich broth with tender meat. All washed down with a draft beer. Great service and clean, bright dining area. Would go again.

The ramen is chewy and the broth is rich with tontaksu taste. Eat with chili sprout will make the ramen more delicious.

I got hooked on ramen in Japan, and this has to be one of the best in the city! I could eat it everyday! Quick, affordable and perfectly done in one of the cleanest kitchens I've seen. Friendly staff too.

This is one of those places that stays with you long after you have returned home. My husband and I were walking around the little plaza, it was about 11a and a line had formed outside. I looked at my husband and said we have to eat here. So from a restaurant person point of view, I loved how they... More

They serve the best Ramen. You will love not only the food but the atmosphere as well. Don't worry if you can't read the menu in Japanese. Just ask for their English one and they will be very happy to give it to you. Staff can speak so so English but they really try their best to help you. Going... More

This is my most favorite ramen restaurant in Takadanobaba. Not only it is very delicious, but also the atomosphere of restaurant is very clean and trendy for a ramen restaurant. This ramen is from originally from Fukuoka and that's where ramen is very famous.

I've had better but the ramen here is quite good. I hear that it gets busy sometimes but it wasnt when I was there. There might be a couple of better options in the area, however. I will say that they will put more noodles in your bowl for really cheap. Prices in general are average.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
