one of the greatest view from the restaurant you can see, if you took a table by the window. Also, the staffs in the restaurant are nice to children, I think it's a family friendly restaurant in Shinjuku Takashimaya department.

This is definitely not a '$' restaurant by Japanese standards (when it comes to dinner at least). More towards the '$$' plus. We sometimes go to dinner in this restaurant. We visited after a long absence for Lunch. In particular, lunch set and Chinese tea and snacks set are great. Price and taste! Lunch is price! Only 500 yen. Chinese tea and snacks set are 750 yen, great, tasty! There are two kinds of Chinese tea and snacks set. One is water dumplings... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
