Located on the 52nd floor, the New York Bar definitely has some great views of the city. FTR, so does the Mori Museum, on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills. But that's neither here nor there. The bar is gorgeous and classy, and as the...More

We came here for cocktail before our Sushi Degustation and WOW, what a place. The views from up here were as good as The Sky Tower, with no crowd. We dressed up and felt like movie stars as we sipped our cocktails and watched the...More

Very popular bar located on the 52 floor of the Park Hyatt Tokyo. Wonderful panoramic views. They certainly know how to make a good cocktail, good bar menu if a little expensive, outstanding service. Brilliant jazz entertainment. The New York Grill is located next door.

As hotel guests, we were given seats at the bar and ordered a Bellini and a beer. There was some very good live jazz. The room is kept very dark so we could see the views. It is expensive but has to be done.

Some people may consider it a cliche. It's not only the place where the famous scene of Lost in translation took place... I love the posh. The trip there is great, with the cute stop through the library, the views, the music, drinks, service, etc.

Maybe was cool in the 90s but it's pretty dated and boring. The view is obviously great but otherwise it's just a hotel bar.

Maybe its just Sunday but I was just there and the cover charge was to kick in at 7pm! Expensive but a drink (extensive list) and free bar snacks & water is ok. Lovely view of the Tokyo metropolis! Good English spoken.

We had to go here while in Tokyo for the cocktails, views and to see the place where Lost in Translation was filmed. It's great and a must do while you're in Tokyo. If you get there early there's no table charge so you can...More

The New York Bar is home to the most expensive cocktail I've ever ordered, and is certainly a bit of a tourist trap. But its reputation for luxury, it's view, and fame garnered as the bar from the film, Lost in Translation, have ensured that...More

I would suggest calling them by Skype because the reception will speak English. Or when you get here ,reserve a reservation. I just walked in when I went to the New York bar & waited shortly for a table. We had drinks and... More

Do people smoke in this bar? As we just want a drive, does it mean we will be seated at the bar, away from the view of the city? Or can we reserve / request for a seat at the window, though not having dinner?
