Imagine if you will, an entire bistro ripped out of, say, the 6eme arrondissement in Paris, and rebuilt in the heart of Tokyo, minutes from Toranomon station and the American embassy. The owner, Philippe Batton, greets his guests in French, barks commands in French, has bilingual menus that are easy to read and priced fairly and one has the choice... More

Local recommended by a friend, chef Philippe Batton's restaurant. Pre-cooked food, poor portions, little flavor and crazy prices. In addition: a waiter eating the food that was advancing from the plates, another continued to yawn. The famous chef was sitting at a table with escort (there were no doubts about work) and three wine bottles.

this restaurant is a typical Parisian brasserie which has been "transposed" in the heart of Tokyo. Good food, excellent wine menu, incredibly reasonable prices. It is actually cheaper to eat here than in Paris... Food is authentic, menu is inspired from traditional brasserie fare, nice terrasse outside to enjoy spring and fall nights. Good place for business entertainment and dates.

Very comfortable and friendly French brasserie, we always eat here at least once on every Tokyo visit for classic French fare at reasonable prices. We have followed them from their former location in Azabu Juban to their present more spacious establishment with outdoor seating.

A place with no energy and passion, cold and uninspired food made me sick in the end. We came for the couscous , it could have been good but was made like from cooking book with no taste. They propose it once a month , but it is not worth it

A French bistro is not a 3 star Michelin restaurant; a bistro is a place where the food is excellent with a very friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced. That’s exactly what this place is. The Chef Philippe Baton is very often in Toranomon as he runs two other identical restaurants in Tokyo, sometimes he is not available however even when... More

This friendly restaurant with outdoor seating is a little great find. We love sitting outside in fine weather and this place meets all the requirements; quiet, shade, comfortable seating and green surrounds. The menu is quite extensive and includes sets and daily specials. We particularly liked the sea bass and goats cheese salad. They have a good selection of wines;... More

Some wine at reasonable price available -- not the highest crus but reasonable -- traditional dishes and some fingerfood good for quick dinner.

This is a wonderful place, fantastic food and the staff make you feel like an old friend. Nothing is too much trouble here, even the chef came out to see if everything was to our liking. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough. If you don't go there you'll have certainly missed something wonderful.

I like to take my friends there for lunch and sometimes dinner when I'm in Tokyo. It is reasonably priced for a French restaurant in Tokyo, Japan. The wait staff is nice and they always have at least 1 French waiter.
