I was somewhat sceptical when I read the other recommendations and reviews... best pizza ever, in Tokyo of all places? ... but that's exactly how it is. Freshly made, right in front of your eyes,, just basic pizza, but simply incredible. Go and taste it yourself. Back to more general: The place is very small and seats around 10 people... More

Fresh and simple but amazingly tasty. Another example of where Japan's dedication to continuous improvement results in an experience that goes above and beyond. One may ask why get Pizza while in Japan but don't listen to those thoughts. You won't regret it!

We saw a sign that said they would open at 6. We waited outside for almost 40 minutes with doors closed, very excited to try it out. A family arrived the minute the door opened and they were greeted very friendly by a staff member who completely ignored us. After they let the family in, he turned to us told... More

I love everything about Savoy. Amazing pizzas, cheap beer, classic rock, and friendly chef/staff. They only make a couple types of pizza each day, and you won't find any monstrosities with 4 meats or crazy amounts of veggies. But the two or three that they make are perfect.

If you are looking for good pizza, this is it. Only 2 pizzas on the menu, if you are lucky you might have a chef make you one off menu, ask for the "Blanca" with loads of garlic, then it is really special. Reservations 2 days before!

A brick oven and 12 or so stools around the bar. That's the whole place. Only a couple of pizzas on the menu and some sides, but the quality of the pizza is impeccable. perfectly salty. and a good list of beers. It's a very Japanese experience and fortunately for us, right down the hill.

Only two pizzas but they are outstanding. They would make a lot Napolitain pizzaioli very jealous. Before you become a regular client the service can be rough though. It becomes very friendly after a few visits. They are part of those Japanese purists who won't let you eat the way you want if it is not deemed Italian (like trying... More

Tiny restaurant, really good pizzas with very limited choice (only 2 types of pizza on the menu). The crew is young, all Japanese with good English. Larger choice for appetizers while u wait for your pizza. It will be prepared in front of your eyes, 45 seconds in the oven and there you go. Oichi desu as they say in... More
