Sadaharu Aoki will always be one of my fav patisserie store in Tokyo. It's a bit pricey but still a reasonable price for its presentation and flavour. Been here a couple times for take away but decided to dine in cause there's empty spot (limited seats). When dining in, it's compulsory for each guest to order a drink, although they... More

had two macarons - sesame & matcha. the sesame was awesome; the matcha was slightly on the milky side. the macaroon itself is not too sweet, which I really enjoyed. we also had a matcha cream cake they had on special, it was wonderful. but the sesame macaroon was a definite winner. sitting at the cafe you need to order... As others have said, I was not overly impressed by the dessert itself. However, the atmosphere was very nice and the presentation was artfully done. When they "overheard" that one of us just had a birthday, they offered a complementary ice cream dessert that appeared equal in value to what we each had ordered initially. It was a very nice... After reading so many raves about this place, I came with high expectations. I ordered the sampler so that I can try more variety. The cakes were yummy but perhaps not to the extend of wow-ing me. Tea was good though and went well with the cakes. Overall still a very good experience.

I was stopping by this supposed to be fancy place while strolling around Tokyo Midtown. I didn't mind waiting, but seating layout was rather uncomfortable, tables too close by in an overly crowded environment.. Patisseries and coffees were okay, but not anything impressive considering the high standards and competing places in Tokyo. Just don't expect to take a leisurely break... More

I don't understand the big deal: macaroons are easy to come by in Tokyo, the cakes are either bizarre combinations of flavours or very bland. I won't be going back.

The patisserie is really over exaggerated .. Take out service is not available each customer has to order drink if they want to sit in the cafe.
