Fast service even when busy. Decent curry but only mildly spiced for UK tastes. different flavour from typical Indian/Bangladeshi curries.

Met up with some friends for dinner. It's not as crowded at night vs. the lunch crowd. Staff spoke English. Food was good. the beef and the katsu pork were tasty, as were the grilled veggies. Not a go to destination for food while in Tokyo, but if you happen to be in the area and are hungry, it's not... More

I went here on the recommendation of my LP guide. I had the chicken curry - good flavour and a decent serving for around 1,000 yen but no real presentation. It was not particularly expensive but you can definitely get nicer curry for cheaper. I guess the unique selling point of Tokyo Curry Lab is that there are fun/whacky placemats... More

It was a bit disappointing though. I ordered pork katsu curry and my husband ordered the beef curry. He got 3 small-med size chunks only, poor him. And my pork, too much fat part. It's a bit pricey, well I compare it to the small katsu curry shop in Akihabara. They are cheap and the pork is all meat, no... More

The last time I visited the Tokyo Tower was in 1968. My husband was there a couple years ago, and tried Tokyo Curry Lab. He knew that when he brought me back to Tokyo, this was one restaurant we HAD to visit. He was totally right. I had pork curry, and my husband had beef. The curries used were slightly... More

Not sure what to think when first walking up to the restaurant is it going to be a disappointing fast food joint? Well the answer is no. It serves really good flavoured curry fast. I had eggplant and tomato minced beef curry (almost a keema) that was great hot and spicy but also well balanced and when washed down with... More

My teen kids love curry so it was no brainer where we would have dinner when they got hungry while at Tokyo Tower. The Tokyo Curry Lab is located at the 2nd floor of Foot Town at the Tokyo Tower. And following its laboratory theme, Tokyo Curry Lab is painted white with some large test tubes filled with various curry... More

It was during their closed hours when we visited, but they still accommodated and I think it's because they saw an Indian looking girl. I was very impressed that they had taken the time to know what truly a curry tasted like. I would go again for sure as this was not the typical Japanese curry which is too creamy... More

Located in the iconic red & white Tokyo Tower, I was excited to see a Tokyo Curry Lab. When I heard its name, I thought it was a 'lab' in a sense that there'd be different types of curry to try. What you get is a restaurant in a good location, a cute placemat in English, and an English menu.... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
