The view of the garden is so lovely. Came as a family staying at the Sheraton. A very elegant restaurant, with round tables. At first, was treated like a server to men. There were my husband of 40 yrs, and our son of 30yrs old. After my husband and our son showed I was family, things were great. By the... More

The Chinese dishes in this hotel restaurant (Miyako) in Shirokanedai are excellent. The service is good. The wine selection is also good (Pouilly-Fuissé). The ambiance is nice. Quality does come with a price though.

There are so few restaurants in Tokyo, where you can eat real Sichuan Mabo Tofu. This restaurant is the one! According to the chef, they are going to Sichuan every half year to buy Sichuan pepper. So the taste is the real, not like read pepper hot Mabo Tofu which you can eat any ordinary Chinese restaurants in Japan. Strongly... More

Looking out the beautiful garden, and enjoying beautiful Sichuan cuisine is great experience. Love how they use all those spices.... just perfect! Dinner can get quite pricey, but they do lunch as well, and their Tantanmen( Dondan noodles) is worth a try!! so good!

This was a restaurant I used to go often with my father when he was alive, so it was a memorial visit too.The taste of each dishes were superb, especially the sharks fin soup with the club egg, is really tasty, but very expensive., Better to go for the lunch time, but you need the reservation.

What better way to savour the sizzling sichuan than in the surrounds of the Sheraton hotel. The fried rice was melt in your mouth, soft and airy like snow and the jasmine tea was the perfect compliment to the meal.

Part of the Sheraton Miyako Hotel complex. Offers a friendly greeting with nice setting and very clean restaurant with buffet service for breakfast. The food generally is the same each morning with fruits, cereals and hot selection. Much like your average western style breakfast. I guess some things don't change much between countries.

During my stay at Sheraton Miyako Hotel, I had breakfast buffet at this restaurant. Although it is a Chinese restaurant, the breakfast menu is a typical Western breakfast. In addition, it serves Chinese rice porridge. You can see a beautiful Japanese garden.

We had breakfast here every morning during our 6 night stay at the Sheraton Miyako Tokyo hotel. The quality of food was excellent, and service was great. The prices of the main meals, however, was a little high for to take a chance on our kids liking or not liking what they would order. I loved the view out into... More

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
