This has to be the most unique meal I have ever had. Impressive innovativeness, assiduous attention to detail, and playful puns on food names – plus the conversations with Chef Kento – all made for an unforgettable experience. And the food is really good, too,...More

TMB wasn't just a great culinary journey, but also a fun and engaging experience. Ping, the esteemed chef, was funny, entertaining and fun. He made the experience truly unforgettable, and we certainly look forward to paying him a visit on our next trip to Tokyo.

Our meal at the Mandarin Oriental was absolutely fantastic. Each course was fun, interesting, and delicious. The primary reason for this is the personalized and personable touch brought by Chef Ping. Chef Ping does a great job of explaining his inspirations for all of the...More

It was interesting. I think that you may go, but do you get tired a little once? The cooking was common.

We loved our evening at this place, truly delightful atmosphere, completely out of the box food with a great chef, always happy to explain and talk! The small details and interactions were also great! I really definitely recommend this for a special occasion!

My comment is that this restaurant is more memorable for its experience than its food. The food is very interesting and is more like an art gallery of food. The chef is exceedingly personable and clearly loves the experience of interacting with the guests and...More

This was a fantastic taster menu. Kento and his colleague (sorry I've forgotten his name- but was from Kent in England) produced an incredible meal. It was a wonderful experience- just a small number of us around the bar which made it intimate and personal,...More

A wonderful experience with a gracious chef. Every dish was great, which is no small feet when there are around 14 of them. Sitting at the bar with only 8 seats, it is dinner and a show.

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
