This is one of our favorite local secrets in Tsukiji market. The chef started 4am and queue started in early hours. If you'd like to try some secrecy dishes, better start early. This is truly local Japanese food. No fancy deco but burst with flavor....More

A crown jewel of the Tsukiji fish market, with a very nice and fresh sashimi menu starting from a mere ¥1500 on weekdays. But this place is much fun and amazing when it comes to taste and enjoy grilled or braised fish of the season....More

Non English and no sushi; frequented by locals. Grilled mebura and soya unagi were fresh and excellent. Rare find for tourists

I'm sad there's no review in English... In Ankoh-ya "Takahashi" , you can have sashimi-teishoku, 1,300yen. Other main dishes cost more than 2.000yen. I cannot tell those delicious and plain dishes are wotrh paying...

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
