Lunch, Sunday - the place was full of locals. We took the Domestic beef rib which was excellent. We also took the Salted stir-fried soba noodles, which were very good.

Quite unusual for Japan, but this place is a tourist trap with rather poor service. Waited 20 minutes for a pair of sausage and the beef stew was disgusting. There basically was no beef, just fat. Our complaints about the beef stew were flatly ignored.

What great beer, best stout I’ve had outside of Ireland and still it’s really good. Beautiful dining hall and the bustle and wonderful food smells make you stay and want to try everything; we did our best with the beers, as I alluded before the...More

Built in the 1930s in the style of a German beer hall, the place is a treasure. It is raucous and pretty well always full of people (mainly locals with a smattering of tourists) chug a lugging great quality and value beers and hopping into...More

This place is worth going to as the atmosphere is quite special, for the obvious reason that it looks like an elegant German brasserie. The beers are delicious and the food is quite good considering it's European. A good place to visit in Summer or...More

What is good about this restaurant is the super efficient service. Food and drinks are coming very quickly. The food itself was good and tasty. Recommend for quick stop between in between shopping :-)

I prefer this Ginza Lion location to the Shinjuku location because it feels more authentic. The tiled floor and mosaics on the walls create a great beer hall environment and makes you feel as though you have been transported back in time to the restaurant's...More

visited this place with my hubby and one year baby. Have baby chair as well. I order beef stew and taste is good.. Sausage is moderate. Price is reasonable for location in Ginza. Very crowded and mostly they order beer.

The decor with imported marble from Germany is atmospheric. The place is busy and noisy with fast service and good beer. You can have a small, medium, large or why not a boot?! Highly recommended for a couple pre dinner.

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
