Sushi as fresh as it gets, warm and excellent service, cosy place. Basically the best sushi we've ever had, and it doesn't cost you the hours wait like the hyped up Sushi Dai a couple of doors away. Why wait for hours when you can walk in here and immediately served one of the best sushi of your life? I... More

My wife and I walked around the Tsujiki Fish Market in search of a place for lunch. There were several shops that had very long queues and some without any customer. We came across Yamazaki which had 5 customers seated at the counter with a few spare seats. We looked through the glass panels and observe an attractive display of... More

One of the best quality sushi I have eaten here. The chefs are quite because of language barrier but very cordial -they even tried to teach me to use chopsticks :-))Long wait always but worth the wait and they don't do takeaway. You cannot leave the Tsukiji fish market without having sushi.

This small restaurant located in the fish market is worth going. The "sushi masters" are really nice and helpful, moreover they have a good English which is really rare. They don't hesitate to advise you on how to properly eat your sushies (Japanese way), which makes me realise that I was far from eating them the right way. Compare to... More

We were lucky to get in fast as the queue had dried up - in 0900 in the morning. Sushi were fantastic and service fast. Tiny place with dozen of seats. Recommended. About 60 EUR for 4.

Got there around 7.30 and waited about 30 minutes to get in. Simple small restaurant but sushi was very fresh and amazing. The sushi chef had these choreographed moves of preparing the sushi which I was fascinated by. Don't miss this place if you are in Tsukiji. I think they only accept cash though..

My friend and I came here for breakfast after exploring the fish markets. Unlike the other restaurants in its vicinity this place had no line, and given that we were time poor we figured we would try it. We were not disappointed, The service was absolutely amazing, the staff were extremely attentive at all times, and the food was delectable.... More

After being a bit too late for the tuna auction que, we decided to check out the sushi restaurants. Yes, quite of a queue there too at 5.30 am. But right at the moment we arrived, this Yamazaki, squeezed between the two more famous ones, opened the doors, and we got in, without any queuing! :) And what a treat... More

Have arrived at Tsukiji market bit after noon time. It is not easy to find Yamazaki among the other sushi restaurants. Waited for abt. 45 minutes, it was a bit cold but we received warm green tea during our wait. Waiting was totally worth it, ate sushi several more times in Tokyo, but this one was hands down the best... More
