Stopped here for lunch during my recent trip to Tokyo. For a small eatery with Bib Gourmand mention in the Michelin Guide and located in a not so busy section of the city, it was packed to the brim. We had to queue but didn't have long to wait as diners enjoyed their meals in the most efficient fashion and... More

When I read about a fusion between Italian food and ramen, I thought about stuff like cacio e pepe meeting hakata ramen. The cheese ramen served at Due Italian is much lighter than either of those dishes. The cheese melted and added a milky texture to the shioramen. It's nice and interesting to try once, but I probably won't try... More

As you can see the chef used to work for Italian restaurant. They serve not only normal noodle also Italian noodle (pasta). They have some ramen menu. My recommendation is Shio(salt) ramen (with normal noodle). Try Shio first!

Due Italian is the marriage between Italy and Japanese Ramen , The moment I witnessed the ordering method via traditional fast food vending ticket machine , I was wondering it must be really good for Michelin to over look that part and award them a Bib gourmand I went for the obvious choice , the fusion of Ramen formage (... It was better than what I expected it to be (I didn't really have high expectations). The taste caters more to Japanese than it would to Italians (they would probably be offended). No surprise, really, as the menu of this Japanese-Italian fusion restaurant is made by a Japanese.

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
