There is just something about the lobbies of all Peninsula properties that is just inviting, relaxing and comforting even though you are alone. It is always a good place to have business meetings or have lunch, or just enjoy your afternoon tea.

The service here is impeccable, the coffee or tea good, the ambiance tops in Marunouchi. The prices reflect the value of the scene.

We had dinner here. The set menus had a good choice and quality of food and were reasonably priced for a 5 star hotel. They had nice live band at the balcony.

I did breakfast during my stay in the hotel, and the food is simply nice as is common in Japan. I love the set menu, as I always eat too much if I do a buffet-style breakfast. The food quality is definitely great. The staff is exceptional, with all the highest standard possibly offered. I got the breakfast covered through... More

We had our breakfast here since we stayed at the Peninsula. They offer 4 different sets of breakfasts among which a Japanese one. His was very special with rice, steamed fish and many little bites. They also offer a la carte breakfast, I enjoyed the egg Benedict with salmon very much. The service is very good as well.

We made use of the lobby restaurant for breakfast and dinner while staying at the hotel. The staff are fantastic as is the case with most restaurants in Tokyo and the food was delicious. I thought the evening dinner was on par with other restaurants in the area and was reasonable value for money. However, we had breakfast one morning... More

Afternoon tea, or high tea, is popular in Tokyo these days. It's rather difficult to get a reservation at many places, let alone the possibility of getting a table spontaneously on the day. Peninsula's The Lobby luckily doesn't take reservations from outside( I don't know how it is for hotel guests), and therefor allows you the joy of a good... More

The Lobby is located at the entrance of the Peninsula Hotel. It's opened from early morning to diner (in the middle lunch & afternoon tea are served). I went there for breakfast as I stayed 4 nights in the hotel. What is strange they don't proposed a buffet but a set menu. It's fine. Quality is excellent. Staff & service... More

For an early bird, having breakfast at the Lobby, Peninsula Tokyo is recommended. I recommend Japanese and gluten-free set. Variety of fresh juice is served. Mango and peach juice is a must. Gluten free bread is all delicious. I don't mind finishing the whole basket (I ran 6 km around the Imperial Park prior to breakfast each dawn). Staff are... More

Breakfast was included in the package we had at this hotel so we ate here on all 3 mornings, the service was excellent and the food absolutely delicious.

Neighbourhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic.
