5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 May 2015 via mobile

My mom and I went there for branch and we fell in love with the yummy toasts and strawberry shake. The cheese chunks, creamy mashed boiled egg and ham with butter atop the soft yet crispy toasts..a sheer local delight that tourists should not miss!!!

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2014

Boiled egg, salad and good coffee - a great breakfast at a good price. Saboru is quite a Tokyo tradition. Very friendly staff. And when you've finished your meal, you can have a nice stroll round the secondhand bookstores nearby.

If you have a chance to come around Jinbo-cho or Ochanomizu, recommend to go Sabouru. I often used to go there before when I worked aroud here. The place is always crowded. Japanese retro style tea room and looks like cabin in a wooded area. Food volume is very huge. My favorite is strawberry milk juice. But smoking is allowed... More

Staying in Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda
Ochanomizu boasts its academic foundations starting with Yushima Seido, the birthplace of modern day Japanese education. The area has kept its college town feel with several university campuses. If you head towards Jinbocho, you'll find musical instrument and sports equipment shops, and an area of used bookstores for students and anyone interested in literature and the arts. Akihabara is well-known for its computer and electronic goods stores, and is now hugely popular as the must-visit mecca for people interested in anime and games. Kanda is an office district where you can find loads of reasonably priced izakayas popular with professionals who stop to eat and drink before making their way home.
