Broad night view of Tokyo to the west from a posh hotel near the Imperial palace, and exquisite kaiseki presentations, refined saké list. Go with someone who knows what to order or rely on the chef's recommendations. (Western-style tables in the main dining area.) At...More

This is a wonderful place to go to for a quiet business lunch. The fare was traditional Japanese, no menus, just eat what you get. It's a very exclusive place to have lunch. You're surrounded by splendor in a very nice hotel.

A classic Japanese multi courses meal. Seating is quite ordinary, but fairly cosy/not massive, food is top quality, as you may expect in a traditional Japanese restaurant.

The food was ok but not up to the standard of other restaurants in Tokyo and elsewhere in Japan. The staff forgot a main course, after the order we placed was re-confirmed, it would help them to write the order down and not rely on...More

I had dinner twice during my stay at the hotel. Once in the restaurant and once in a private dining room. We had booked the room in advance as they are high in demand. The setting, service and food was excellent as always.

I was expecting more, but the restaurant was quite empty and although the food was very good, the service was too fast. Friendly, as one would expect, but too fast. I felt that they were trying to hurry me along to clear the table, even...More

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
