I had a lasagne with chunky chips and a side salad and diet coke. The chips were delicious and staff were really friendly and the locals seemed friendly too. It appears to be dog friendly too because there was one in the pub area. There is a real log fire too which is really nice especially on a cold day... More

Found this lovely pub just 2 minutes minutes off the M40 j5. Very friendly staff. Good choice of food on menu including some vegetarian choices, reasonably priced. Food was served quickly. Good food and portion size was right. A nicer break than motorway services. It was dark when we visited but there was a large green in front of the... More

We left the Kings Hotel appalled & found this place just across the green. This was smart & clean inside & modern with new furniture. We explained that we had an appointment at 2pm {it was about 1pm by then). The waitress was very friendly & said she would ask the chef if he could do it - she came... More

A delightful pub overlooking the Green in this Buckinghamshire Village easily accessible off the M40. We were made to feel welcome by the Staff with a pleasant smile & greeting and unhurried service. A good range of local brews(Marlow Brewery). A moderately sized menu with good homely choice (bubble & squeak) promptly served. Total bill for 2 courses for 2... More

We chose this location through the Tripadvisor reviews as a place to stop after a day in London en route back to Worcestershire. There is no way we'd ever have found it without knowing about it first, and even if we ha we probably wouldn't have stopped there as it looks so unprepossessing from the outside. On entering, the pub... More

While we were out on Sunday we decided to have lunch. We stopped at one pub/restaurant as we were passing and despite many empty tables they told us that they were full until 5 and the smugness with which this was expressed made us feel unwanted. We drove on and found The Fleur DeLis not on the Green but looking... More

For the 3rd year running have booked and stopped here for breakfast on the way to Royal Ascot on a Saturday. Highly recommended! And terrific value for money and always made welcome. Buffet style breakfast and the staff made us ladies from Coventry welcome. So nice we even stop for a nightcap on way home!! For anyone passing, give it... More

We recently moved to the area and spent a couple of hours in the beer garden on a sunny day. Nice beers (Rebellion IPA on tap, which is always a plus!). There were 4 of us shared a couple of bowls of chips and sandwiches. Sandwiches were served with Kettle Chips, which are awesome. Public inside seemed fairly small but... More
