We're in Urbania for the week and have eaten here 3 times, it's AMAZING! The truffle menu is exquisite, all the food is wondrously fresh and bursting with flavour and Doddo's own wine is delicious! Can't wait to come back. Grazie infinite.

The interior is pleasant but quite plain and the emphasis is upon good, homemade Italian cooking. For starters on both visits we shared a lovely salad, with leaves and slivers of fruits and vegetables topped generously with truffle.(One portion was easily large enough for two). On one night we followed with meat dishes and on the other with pasta. I... More

Arriving on a Saturday lunchtime in October most of Urbania seemed to be shut; worse still, our guidebook, which recommended Osteria da Doddo, said that it was closed on Saturdays. Fortunately that turned out to be incorrect and as good luck had it, the white truffles had just arrived. Crostini with white truffle, pasta with white truffle, and then for... More

Great home made pasta, simple menu. They speak only Italian, the menu also Italian only. Average prices, average portions.

I love Doddo, and the amazingly hardworking family who make your visit memorable. Everything is great! They give a discount to students who are studying Italian at Centro Studi😘. They also give cooking classes.

Don't expect fancy, but real. Was like going to your "Nonna's" house for a DELICIOUS meal. LOVED the food!! Very authentic. Can't wait to go back!

We have been frequenting Urbania for many years but discovered this little secret osteria for the first time this week. Fabulous food, well structured, tasty and beautifully presented. It was full of locals. No wonder!

I wonder why I haven't reviewed this place before... This is one of my very favourites of the area: in the summer you can sit in the little lane where there is always a breeze and it's nice even in the hottest weather. The food is amazing: typical but with some touches of modernity that do not spoil the tradition.... More

Two issues - my wife is Senza Gluten and we ignorantly both can't speak hardly any Italian. However the staff spoke perfect English and suggested three course meals for both of us which including gluten free pasta for my wife. The food was excellent and reasobably priced and we would recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting this lovely area. Ian... More

After a busy morning of sightseeing we wre ready for what turned out to be a perfect lunch. Doddo, the Owner had been a butcher for thirty five years so you know he knew meat. All the pasta was made in house. We started with two salads one greens and tomato the other with Faro. Both excellent. We then shared... More
